3. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

3.1 Visiting our Website

When you visit our website, information is automatically sent to our website's server by the browser used on your device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your involvement and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
  • Browser used and, if applicable, your computer's operating system and the name of your access provider

We process the data specified for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection to the website
  • Ensuring comfortable use of our website
  • Evaluation of system security and stability
  • Other administrative purposes

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.

3.2 Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact information you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer exists (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - especially retention periods - remain unaffected.

3.3 Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only on a voluntary basis. For the handling of newsletters, we use newsletter service providers, which are described below.

3.3.1 MailChimp

This website uses the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service that can be used to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of receiving newsletters (e.g., email address), it will be stored on MailChimp's servers in the USA.

MailChimp is certified under the "EU-US Privacy Shield." The "Privacy Shield" is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.

With the help of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the email (called a web beacon) connects to MailChimp's servers in the USA. This allows us to determine if a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked. In addition, technical information is recorded (e.g., time of access, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you do not want MailChimp to analyze your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

The data you provide us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of MailChimp after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

For more details, please see MailChimp's privacy policy at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

4. Cookies and Web Tracking

4.1 Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malicious software.

Information is stored in the cookie that is generated in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our website more pleasant for you. For example, we use session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it automatically recognizes that you have already been with us and what inputs and settings you have made so that you don't have to enter them again.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a notification always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely disabling cookies may mean that you cannot use all the features of our website.

4.2 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"), on our website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have activated IP anonymization. On this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. Through the statistics obtained, we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means IP addresses are processed in shortened form, which prevents them from being directly linked to a particular individual. If the data collected about you can be linked to your person, this link is immediately excluded, and the personal data is immediately deleted.

We use Google Analytics for the purposes mentioned above. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

5. Social Media Plugins

We use social plugins from the social networks Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on our website based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR to make our casino comparison platform better known. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation is to be guaranteed by their respective providers. The integration of these plugins by us is done using the so-called two-click method to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.

5.1 Facebook

Social media plugins from Facebook are used on our website to personalize its use. We use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button for this. This is an offer from Facebook.

When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with Facebook's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the website.

Through the integration of the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.

Facebook can use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research, and tailoring Facebook pages. To this end, Facebook creates usage, interest, and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website, and to provide other services associated with the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to associate the data collected via our website with your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

6. Rights of the Data Subject

You have the right:

  • in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;

  • in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of processing of your personal data if you contest the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful but you oppose its deletion, and if we no longer need the data but you need it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or if you have objected to processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request the transfer to another controller;
  • in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR, to withdraw your consent given to us at any time. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future; and
  • in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters.

7. Right to Object

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, insofar as there are grounds for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without you having to specify a particular situation.

If you would like to exercise your right of withdrawal or objection, simply send an email to hello@fragcasino.com.

8. Data Security

We use the widely used SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser during visits to the website. Usually, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
